Yay! It is Pumpkin Time!   I put a post out on Facebook on what were some good pumpkin patches around to get some pumpkins.  I wanted to stay semi local so that we weren’t driving over an hour just to get pumpkins.  We found Sharp Farms in Sugar Grove and it was just perfect.  We got to go out to the patch and pick out our pumpkins which was exactly what I wanted.  They even had carts there that you could grab and take out to the fields which was awesome! We almost didn’t grab one and then we were pretty happy we did when we were out there. You are pretty far away from the parking area once you are in the back of the fields.  We had a carving night on Monday to get our creations carved.  I was going to do Stitch and then I thought I remembered that I did stitch last year. I really can’t remember if I did or not… but I switched last minute to Meeko from Pocahontas.  He is super cute – one issue is that I need to put some more holes in the back of him because there isn’t enough air flow since the only area that is carved through 100% is his eyes lol.  So he has some issues, but we are working through them.  Scott carved the Buffalo Bills emblem into his pumpkin.  He took a long time do it, but it came out perfect.
