This is one of the gorgeous Newark Ohio engagement sessions that I did last year with Ashley and Jon. Their Newark Ohio Engagement Session was shot at Dawes Arboretum in Heath Ohio by Columbus Ohio Wedding Photographer Krista Piper.  I put up a teaser along time ago and figured I should put up their full engagement session. They were married in Bluffton, Ohio on June 30th 2011.  It was an awesome, crazy, amazing day that I can not wait to share with you.

We met up at Dawes arboretum in Newark/Heath Ohio for their session in the fall of 2010.  Ashley were a super cute dark navy blue dress with a white belt and Jon had on a matching hue of blue in his button down shirt.  I love it when my couples stay in the same color family. Ashley stayed classy with some pearl earrings and a necklace. She carried over the same classiness for her wedding day.  It was one of the first times that I had been to Dawes for an actual photo session.  I have gone there millions of times running with Bentley, Picnics and just enjoying the trails and sunsets.  It was awesome to actually photograph the beauty of the arboretum with a couple.   I have been at Dawes many times since then for photo shoots and it is now one of my favorite places to take people.  They have so many great features there for any sessions including bridges, small pons, tons of trees, great nature trails and a couple buildings in the woods.  I am so thrilled to be able to live so close to this gem of a location!
