May is such a gorgeous time for an engagement session. The trees and flowers are finally starting to really come out and everything is so warm! I met up with Hannah and Justin for their engagement session last May and it was amazing! I seriously adore these two so much. They are so joyful to be around and their laughs are contagious!   I really could not have asked for a better way to spend a perfect May evening than to be shooting their engagement session.   They came out to Dawes Arboretum, which you know is one of my favorite spots because it has so many gorgeous locations to shoot at!   They brought along their adorable dog named Cazzie. Cazzie was a ball of fun energy and enjoyed running around the park with us during the session.

 

I know I can’t wait for their wedding!! Scott is pretty excited too! He was able to quickly meet them during one of our weddings last year! We were shooting Julie and Jon’s wedding at Brookside Golf and Country club. I was in the reception room starting to shoot details while we had a couple extra minutes and I turn around and see Hannah and Justin touring the space! It was the first time they had seen the reception room set up for a wedding! It was so nice to see them and have Scott say a quick hello! Scott had only heard me gushing about them when I came home from the engagement session, so it was awesome that he could put faces to names!

 

Their wedding will be here soon enough… just a couple short months until May!
