Our 2016 was amazing! So much happened in our personal and our business life, it was such a crazy time trying to narrow the year down into one blog post. This year started with cozy engagement sessions in the snow and then onto warm spring with the birth of our son Wyatt in April. We took a few less wedding commissions this year because of the new season of our lives with having a baby. Our spring was a little lighter than what we are used to with photographing weddings, but we made up for it with our fall wedding season! We had an absolute blast this year between photographing weddings, our couples, engagement sessions, our new son and traveling! We also had some changes to the business – We have a new website design and blog design!!!
This year we photographed at some amazing venues for weddings and engagements! Just to name a few – Crago Farms in Marysville, OH, Alley Park in Lancaster, OH, Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio, Royal American Links, Hidden Lakes Winery in Pickerington, Hickory Lakes, All Occasions in Delaware Ohio , Scioto Country Club in New Albany , St. Joseph Cathedral in downtown Columbus
Our blog named actually changed this year – The Pipers Photography blog lived at www.Pipersgallery.com for the past 10 years. I decided this year that it was good for the business to move it to www.PipersPhotographyBlog.com. This change makes it easier for people to actually find the blog and it matches www.PipersPhotography.com! This was a huge step and a gamble with Google. Google might not like us for awhile since we have a new blog URL, but I am hoping within the year, we make up for it and Google starts to like us again! I am in love with our new website design. We are continuing to make small adjustments to the site, as it is a different platform than what we are used to. We hope that everyone enjoys the new site and the new design.
I am excited to close out 2016 with a high note. Enjoy our year in review with our Weddings and Engagements!
I am an Ohio based photographer who loves photographing weddings and engagements, traveling to beautiful sandy beaches, running after our adorable son Wyatt and border collie Bentley. A chips and salsa freak. Lover of coconut smelling lotions - candles - tea - desserts and... well anything that smells coconuty, and finally warm summer nights on our patio! Come hang out with me on Instagram and Facebook!
