It has been an awesome week over here working on wedding and engagement pictures.  I have had lots of great meetings and lovely email chats with so many brides for 2014 and 2015. Their weddings are going to be great!!

One of the great things I love about all of my couples is their ability to have fun.  I think I am pretty fun during the engagement and weddings… Obivously, I might be a little biased haha.  But.. I love it when I can look through a wedding and see that my couples were able to let loose, have some fun, and just giggle in their pictures.   I love these pictures – sometimes they are bloopers which is hilarious and other times they end up being gorgeous and some of my couples favorite pictures because they tell the true story of them and their personalities.

I know when Scott and I were looking through wedding photographers for our big day – the ability to capture the personalities of the people was pretty big to us.  We wanted to have a strong connection with our photographer so that we knew that we could just be ourselves around them.   You might be asking who is your photographer?? hehe I can’t tell you yet.. give me another week or so once we have the date finalized and everything finalized with them.. but we are pretty excited!  I plan on talking with you more about how Scott and I chose a photographer and what was important to us and why.  You might get a sneaky suspicion that having a great relationship with our photographer was pretty high up on the list and it was! I think that connection can make or break your photos because you want someone you like taking pictures of you!

 

Anyway – I have gotten a little off track, but I wanted to share with you one of those pictures that made me smile while I was going through Michelle and Nick’s wedding from earlier in the week at Cheers Chalet in Lancaster, Ohio.
