This past weekend has been a fun filled weekend. My family and I went to see The Lettermen in concert for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. Their anniversary was technically on the Sunday the 14th and the concert was on the 13th. We all enjoyed it a good bit and got to embarrass my parents by having them go up to get their picture taken during the picture song that Tony, Donovan and Bobby sing. They also did a shout out too to them as well which was great!! Yay for embarrassing the parents!! On Sunday my parents went down to hocking hills to enjoy hiking around the caves. Heather and I stayed back at their house and cleaned and decorated a bit.
Today is my sister’s 29th birthday hehe. We are at my parents house celebrating with some dinner and a yummy message cookie. I got her some buckeroos for Caribou Coffee since that is her favorite coffee and it is going out of business. Yes… you heard right. Caribou is going out of business 🙁 They already closed the store that is closest to my parents. A coffee shop called Pete’s is taking over Caribou and some of the stores are going to be completely closed and the others are going to be converted to Pete’s I think. I heard the story from my sister so don’t quote me on it, but that is what I heard from the grapevine.
To celebrate all of the festivities here are some instagram pictures 🙂
The card that my dad got my mom 🙂 She loves Lady and the Tramp
Yummy, Delicious message cookie from Giant Eagle. YUM
This is a picture from 1990 of Heather and I with Tony from The Lettermen. I am on the left – blonde hair and Heather is on the right – brown hair. We really haven’t changed that much! You can literally fill an entire scrapbook with pictures of us and The Lettermen since we grew up listening to them because of our parents. While we were at the concert we had our pictures taken as well and afterwards some of the other fans that we knew commented about how much Heather and I have grown up and that we have grown up with the lettermen! My first concert was when I was 2 and Heather was 5 – we are now 26 and 29 if that gives you any idea how long we have been going 🙂

Love the photo of you and your sister with Tony. I’m a relatively new fan of The Lettermen having attended my first concert in 2005. Since then I’ve traveled all over the US and now have seen them a total of about 55 times. During this time I’ve had the pleasure of becoming friends with Tony.
That is awesome!! My parents enjoyed them and got to know them before my sister and I were born. Once we were born we started going to the concerts at about 2. My mom used to play The Lettermen songs to my sister to get her to sleep. We always see them when they are in Ohio or nearby. It has been fun to see the transitions in the group! I am excited to see Bobby back since he left while I was still pretty young. Tony is great! We have enjoyed the friendship over the years!!
