I figured now would be a good time to post some pictures that I took a week ago when it snowed. I have yet to get to my house to take pictures of the new snow that fell last night and today. I am up at my parents house currently in Columbus and have almost no voice. Its pretty amazing haha. This is a pretty bad time to halfway loose your voice and sound like a frog!
The other evening I was going to babysit my little nephew Andrew ( oh, I have really cute pictures from halloween that I need to blog about with him in them!) and my sister called because they were no longer going to a birthday party since she is sick. So, I had the evening free and my mom and Kearny were signing at the Polaris Fashion mall. After I took a nap – I figured why not go and sit to watch them. It beat hanging out on the couch which I had done all day. When I got to where they were singing, it was right behind the Starbucks – so, I got Starbucks and ran into one of my friends from Design school who works there. We chatted for a minute or two about life and how each of us was doing. My mom and Kearny sang lots of Christmas songs and sounded great. They got lots of compliments from people that were sitting around Starbucks watching them, and passerby’s. I have a link to their website and the trio website with Tom on my link page, or you can click here to visit their site and see where they will be next! I watched my mom for an hour or so and when they were done singing I ran into my good friend Michael who I have known since second grade. I actually just did pictures for Michael and his sister Melissa for their family for Christmas – those need to be posted as well!
So, in a nut shell – it was a good evening despite being sick and not really having a voice. Luckily, my throat no longer hurts but my voice keeps cutting in and out and I still sound like a frog… love it!
Here are the pictures from what I consider the “first” snow fall at my house. According to the weather channel the snow that happened last night and toady is the first measurable snow, but I don’t know… there was a lot of snow at my house a week ago!
I hope everyone enjoys the pictures!
Enjoy!
