Quarter Life Crisis

Our Life

June 26, 2012

I had my quarter life crisis on Sunday – Also known as turning 25.

It was a crazy, busy weekend.  My AC decided to go out on Thursday… luckily it missed the couple of days that we had that were in the 90’s.  When I went to bed on Friday night my bedroom was a lovely sleeping temperature of 90 degrees.   Saturday morning my dad came down to check it out and see what was wrong with it.  I took off for Logan for Jenna and Justin’s Wedding while my mom and dad were still at the house playing with the AC and fixing the screen upstairs off the porch.    On Sunday morning I did the engagement session of Emily and Robert at Park of Roses.  Their cute doggie joined us for a couple of photos as well.  After the session was over I headed back up to my parents house for some birthday celebrations.  I pretty much had my camera put away all day besides taking some funny pictures of my nephews after dinner.

Enjoy!

Can’t go wrong with Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake

This starts the hilarious fun of my nephews.  Andrew kept doing hilarious faces every second and Ethan joined in on the fun.

Bentley wanted to see what all the fuss was about too – so he joined in as well.

The two pictures below crack me up

Here are some of the goodies that I got from my family!

If you haven’t smelled Malibu Heat from Bath and Body works you are missing out!

New Flip Flops!  I am really, really rough on my flip flops.  I use to never break them, and now I break them all the time.  I had no pairs that were actually in working order. The only pair I had left that I could wear were the ones that Bentley decided to chew off the top the day before we left for North Myrtle Beach last year.

Lace TOMS!!!!  YEAH!!!!!!

Nerd alert – Pet Net!  I have a crazy amount of stuffed animals.  I have always loved stuffed animals since I was little and it is hard to part with them.  They all have special meaning.  Most of them are still at my parents house because I had no place to put them here.  Introduce the pet net! It will go in my office most likely because that is the only place that I have a corner wall area that is free for it.

Cute Cards that I got.  Andrew wanted to make his presence known so he had to draw his hand and then initial it just in case I didn’t know who’s hand it was.

These are some flowers that I got from my Best friend Shannon.  You may remember her from a couple weeks ago as I did her and Jon’s engagement session up in Kelleys Island.  I LOVE these flowers so much! They are so me and my personality which meant the world to me.  I couldn’t stop taking pictures of them because they had so many great angles.  Prepare to be over flowered.

I am an Ohio based photographer who loves photographing weddings and engagements, traveling to beautiful sandy beaches, running after our adorable son Wyatt and border collie Bentley. A chips and salsa freak. Lover of  coconut smelling lotions - candles - tea  - desserts and... well anything that smells coconuty, and finally warm summer nights on our patio!  Come hang out with me on Instagram and Facebook!
