It feels like forever since we had a wedding! It has really only been about 2 months, but it still feels like a long time. We are so used to having multiple weddings every month.  It was a PERFECT start to the second half of our wedding season with Kelsey and Kyle.  Kelsey and Kyle’s Oak Grove wedding was an amazing start to August and I am so thankful that they chose us to be their photographers for their small wedding this year and their larger reception next year!

Kelsey and Kyle were both so excited and the nervous were going like crazy before their first look.  They totally melted and relaxed once they had their first look with each other.  They were so sweet and read their personal vows to each other during their first look.  Reading their personal vows was such a beautiful moment for them during their first look.  It gave them a chance to really connect before the ceremony.  I absolutely adore when our couples have a first look for this reason.

After the first look, we dodged some rain showers that were nearby and finished up their portraits and the wedding party pictures.  That leads us right into their intimate ceremony inside the greenhouse.  It was a ceremony full of laughter with some funny moments happening.   Once the ceremony was done and family pictures were finished – we grabbed a couple more portrait pictures of just Kelsey and Kyle and headed into their appetizer hour.  They had an adorable cake and individual cupcakes for everyone to take home.  Toasts with champagne and delicious appetizers for everyone.

Thank you so much Kelsey and Kyle for having us as your wedding photographers this year and next.  We loved every moment of your day and can not wait to share more of your reception day with you in 2021!
