Merry Christmas from Bentley and I to you!!!

 

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Day celebration with your family and friends.  I know Bentley and I will be enjoying ourselves with my family.   We have presents to unwrap ( he already tried to get his bone out of the tissue paper many times on Christmas Eve) , yummy food to eat and delicious cookies and candies to eat!  I made some Buckeye candies on Christmas Eve and they are delicious.  It has been awhile since I have made them and found a new recipe and yep! They are yummy!

 

Bentley and I always take an annual Christmas Picture in front of the Christmas tree at my house.  The first year he did AWESOME.  I had the beep on the camera and the camera on a tripod with the self timer set.  The camera beeped and he looked and BAM, Perfect picture.  The second year it was a little rough. This year I had his attention for about 5 or 10 minutes and managed to get some interesting pictures.  There had to be a couple sticks of string cheese involved, but overall we got some good pictures for my Mom’s Christmas letter that goes out every year in the cards.  Plus, I now have another cute picture of us to put in our Christmas frame.  I figure I am going to be one of those people that has the same frame just puts another 4×6 picture over the previous one so that in 10 or 15 years from now I will have a frame that the back does not fit in because it has 15 pictures stacked up behind the main one 🙂  I always enjoy that about older frames.  I have opened up many frames at my grandparents house and found multiple little pictures behind the main one and it is always a nice little surprise to find them!  Now, I have to admit that almost none of the photos actually have Bent and I in focus and I am ok with that.  I tried to stick my foot or have him sit in front of the tree so that the camera could focus on that and not on the tree… but it doesn’t work out so well.  SOOO until I have another accomplice to help out with this yearly task I will settle with slightly out of focus pictures of bent and I.

This one was a runner up – It looked like he was eating my hand thought going after the cheese and I like my outfit in the one above so the one above made the christmas card.

This one became my facebook picture because as out of focus as it is – it is totally me and Bentley. Laughing, crazy, out of focus fun!
