I am always so excited when I get to visit a new wedding venue. Irongate Equestrian Center located just a hop, skip and jump from Columbus is in Croton, Ohio. It is such a wonderful gem that is tucked away in a country atmosphere. It is nestled on rolling fields, fences and some gorgeous sunsets. I was super excited when I found out that they were opening and would be doing wedding there! I wasn’t able to visit during the Bridal open house that they had a week or so ago since we were in Kansas shooting Erin and Jackson’s wedding, but I did make it for the Open House that they had for the opening. That was a real treat! I fully enjoyed running around the location taking pictures, seeing a warm up with the horse trainer, and checking out more of the grounds.
I have to say that I can not wait to photograph wedding there! If you are thinking about getting married there, or know someone who is – send them my way! I have so many pictures in my head with the fields, the decking, the doors… literally the list just keeps going! The area back to where they have ceremonies is a dream. It looks like you are walking into another land that is a fairy tale. The gorgeous little dirt and grass road that goes over a little bridge. It can’t be any more picturesque. There is a stone fence that lines the walkway into the woods and clearing – I am in love. I couldn’t help but imagine bride and groom formals on the walkway and bridge. I don’t know how many brides I have had ask for dirt roads, or gorgeous little pathways that just lead into a field. I have lost count! I am so happy that now I can say yes! I know of what! check out Irangate for your wedding!
Another awesome thing is that if you were at the bridal expo that was at Aladdin Shrine last month – Irongate was right next to me! I sent a couple brides over to visit their booth when they told me they were still looking for a venue and wanted an outdoor, rustic, elegant location! Hopefully some of those brides checked out Irongate and will meet with me too!
Seriously – who is getting married here? I want to photograph your wedding 🙂
Enjoy the pictures from the venue!
– Little disclaimer as with all the venue spotlights I do – I am not getting paid or anything lovely like that for writing this up. This is just me going to an amazing venue, taking pictures and wanting to share it with the world and hopefully photograph a wedding there sometime soon 🙂
