It’s Friday!!!!! We all know what that means!! Ipsy Review time!! I promise these will get to be once a month… but for now enjoy the last of my catch up with my ipsy reviews. If you missed my previous reviews you can check out May, April, and March to see what products I loved and didn’t love.
Here are the products for the month of June –
Love Urban Decay!!! I was beyond excited to see Urban Decay showing up in the glambag. All of my eyeshadows are Urban Decay – I have used their products for years. I love their Naked line. I used one of the larger pallets for my wedding eyeshadow and I always see make up artist use their shadows for Bridal looks. LOVE. The color is perfect and I think I might actually have it already in one of my larger pallets. It is great to have a smaller size though for on the go! I might just has to toss it in my makeup bag for wedding days to have an extra color!
I have never heard of Be a Bombshell cosmetics before – new one for me! It is a lipgloss which is a plus for me since I got lipstick in a previous bag and even though the color was good, just not a huge fan of lipstick. I feel like I am part of the lipgloss generation if there is such a thing! This gloss is pink – I have tried it out a couple times and do enjoy the color for going out. I can’t say it is a normal every day color for me since it is such a bright pink, but it is pretty awesome. The taste and smell of it is pretty good too! It has a nice thickness to it as well that makes it not ridiculously thick or anything. I always hated glosses that felt caked on. So plus one for this!
I have to be honest here – I have not had a chance to try this out yet! I keep forgetting to take the bottle upstairs to the shower with me!! I haven’t even read the instructions on if it is used in the shower or after the shower… eek.. I’m bad I know. I am excited to try it and when I do I will come back here and add a note on what I thought!
I saw this and got a little creeped out – is it really stem cells in the cream? It says 2 in 1 cleanser and mask for dehydrated skin with stem cells, rose hip and vitamin E. I used it as a cleanser to try it out and not as a mask. It has a typical cleanser smell to it, so nothing fancy going on with that. After I washed it off my face felt a little clammy and it seemed to take a couple minutes to really dry.. so does that mean my skin got more hydrated? Possibly? I have to say though that since it has Stem Cells in it… it is a little creepy. I am guessing they are lab stem cells and not human stem cells? Is that even a thing? I can’t say I have kept current on stem cells and what is going on with them. So, I don’t think I will be using it again since I do love my current skin care routine. Interesting product to try though!
All hail the colored eyeliners! I love colored eyeliners. I used to wear navy green a lot in highschool until I transitioned to black and purple sometimes. Hey, Purple is supposed to make brown eyes pop so I was all over the purple liner. I used this creme gel liner for the first time over 4th of July weekend. I figured it was a good time to use it and add a little festiveness to my eyes for all the fireworks. It went on soooo smooth. I loved that! I think I might just have to get this same brand in other colors because of how smooth it went on. I have always used my tried and true Urban Decay eyeliner in oil slick – so this was a nice change having it be a gel liner that glides on. For the 4th I did put on my normal black and then I went right next to it with the gold Get Paid color and then on the bottom just put the gold Get Paid. I liked the change in my eye look and it wasn’t to crazy – I don’t think I would do it to photograph a wedding, but going out for the evening? Sure! Bring on the gold!
In all this is what I would buy and return :
