The joys of winter weather! We had a nice little ice and snow storm that came through earlier in the week. I think we were supposed to get more ice then snow, but then we ended up getting a lot of snow and medium ice. We didn’t get as much ice as they did in southern Ohio which was good! They lost a lot of power down there which is never any fun. The power here kept going on and off all Wednesday morning/early afternoon. The snowy, slushie, ice mixture that we got was pretty heavy. It did look pretty though on the trees! It was a perfect time to go out and snap some pictures of the icy world. Bentley wasn’t a huge fan of walking on the snow. He kept stepping and then falling through – everything froze even more the past couple of days with the freezing temps. Now he can walk on top of the snow with out falling through. He is pretty excited about that!
Enjoy the snow pictures!
There were a couple of tragedies that happened – the sign was beat up by the snow/plow and so was the mailbox. The mailbox has been put back together, but I don’t think the sign is going to make it. We are planning on moving the sign back closer to the fence and redoing it come spring!
Yes, I do still have some Christmas decorations up outside. There are still lights wrapped around the trees and bushes. It has been to cold for me to go out there and unwrap everything. I am hoping for a mid 40 degree day to get out there and get everything down!
