Hawaii Honeymoon – Where did we go for 2 weeks? | Wedding Photographer travels

Our Life

July 6, 2015

You may have noticed that it was quiet on the blog, Facebook page, and twitter.  We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks for our honeymoon in June! I was posting a couple pictures here and there on Instagram – so if you follow me there then you probably figured out that we were no longer in Ohio since the pictures consisted of orchid leis and palm trees 🙂  If you want to check out the instagram feed you can find it here : Instagram feed   The feed is always a great place to check out some more personal pictures of events that are happening sooner then what you will see them on the blog!

We took so many pictures and videos.  We got a GoPro for the trip since we had a snorkeling day planned and I couldn’t wait to take pictures of all the coral and fish underwater! Scott handled the gopro most of the time and I had my normal camera.  We got really good at taking gopro selfies and I must say I like them better then camera phone selfies! I feel like it is going to be the new little camera that we take out with us when we go anywhere.  I brought my laptop with us so that we could unload the cards every couple of days and… yeah… we took well over 100gb of pictures and videos! Nuts! It is going to take me awhile to get through everything to share with you.

For now here are a couple shots I pulled quickly from all of the images and of course had to do a nice selection of some GoPro selfies!

One of the times I remembered to bring my Macro lens and got our rings at Sunset at Haleakala. My ring is crazy cloudy, but I totally blame it on the sunscreen and salt water!

Sunset our last day. We were literally on our way to the airport and stopped to eat ice cream one last time on the beach for sunset.

I am an Ohio based photographer who loves photographing weddings and engagements, traveling to beautiful sandy beaches, running after our adorable son Wyatt and border collie Bentley. A chips and salsa freak. Lover of  coconut smelling lotions - candles - tea  - desserts and... well anything that smells coconuty, and finally warm summer nights on our patio!  Come hang out with me on Instagram and Facebook!
