Fun and Relaxed Wedding Day at Pretty Prairie Farms

When I first met Lindsay and Blake, I knew I was going to fall in love with them instantly. They are the sweetest and so full of life couple.  I could tell just from Lindsay’s emails that we were going to click right away and that I was going to love photographing their engagement session and their run and relaxed wedding day. Their engagement session was at Young’s Jersey Dairy Farm in the fall, and their wedding was at Pretty Prairie Farms in the Spring.  You can check out their Engagement Session at Young’s Here.

I was also so excited to photograph at Pretty Prairie Farms!  I had the chance to photograph at the venue the year prior, but we were already booked for the wedding of that couple… so when Lindsay and Blake contacted me, and I had their date available, it seemed like fate! They were THE perfect couple for me to have my first experience at Pretty Prairie Farms in Urbana, Ohio.  Their love for each other and their families really made the day so special to photograph.  Lindsay and Blake chose the venue because of the story behind what inspired the owners to open the venue and the fact that they felt at home at the venue.

Lindsay and Blake are a dream couple, and I know I say that about all of our couples.  We are just so lucky and thankful we can find our couples that we can love and serve.  Their wedding day was gorgeous, fun and relaxed. They made the quick last-minute decision to hold their wedding ceremony outside, which was THE perfect idea.  It was a tiny bit windy, but honestly – who doesn’t love a little bit of wind moving a wedding dress on their wedding day?  The sun was shining, and it was a warm spring day.  We did get a bit of rain towards the end of the evening, but we got the sparkler exit it right at the start of the rain, so it was perfect!  Lindsay and Blake were such a breeze to work with and everything we love in a couple.  Thank you so much for having us photograph your wedding day!
