Emily and Chris both said they wanted their session to be downtown Columbus and McFerson Commons Park was a perfect starting location for their session. Their engagement session was in the fall time and we were able to take advantage of the trees that were still turning colors. The trees provided a gorgeous yellow hue in the back of their images that made their pictures all warm and glowey. We strolled around and down a couple little random alleyways around the park to capture some nice areas near Spring street. Emily and Chris are already married as I am typing this up! They got married this May and their images are gorgeous as always – I can not wait to share those with you! Emily and Chris both had a request that I do not do often – do part of the session at night! It was a fun change from my normal sunset pictures to capture some of their images at night with the bridge at Scioto Mile. I have been on that bridge so many times and captured such gorgeous sunset pictures in several engagement sessions and weddings – it was a nice change to not only capture sunset images, but also mix in the light from the bridge as well! The skyline was gorgeous that evening and it complimented Emily and Chris perfectly. I could not have asked for a better session with these two love birds. Thank you so much for having me photograph your engagement session and having Scott and I photograph your wedding! It was an absolute blast both days! Thank you!!!
