Cooking fun!

Our Life

August 25, 2011

My family and I always go to North Myrtle Beach every year.  We had a blast this past year and we went back to one of our favorite restaurants. Key West Grill in Myrtle Beach.  There is one dish that I get every time we go.

It is called Duval Street Pasta.

It is Delicious.

I want to eat it year round.

So… I came home and figured out how to make it! First I searched around online and found nothing that was close to what they make. I tried to remember all the ingredients while I was at the restaurant and make a mental note. I think the mental note worked because my pasta tastes pretty darn close to what they make.  I then put it on facebook that I was making my own Duval Street Pasta… my mom say the post and wanted the recipe.

One problem with wanting the recipe.. I didn’t use one. I made it up as I went along 🙂

Of course I had to make it again and this time actually take some measurements of what I was doing.

This is how it turned out tonight:

Stay tuned for over the weekend for the whole recipe 🙂
