Columbus Ohio Engagement Session

 

Jenn, Mark and I met in March for their engagement session in Columbus in the lovely area of German Village.  We met up around the Book Loft which is always one of my favorite areas. I love shopping in the store and the walkway areas right around there are so adorable. Actually, all of German Village is adorable and makes it perfect for an engagement session.  Mark and Jenn were awesome in the slightly chilly weather and we ran right around the Book Loft area for about half the session.  Jenn looked amazing in her dress – I forgot to ask her where she got it from because I really want one! The dress and the heels were a perfect combination for the area.    We stopped into Starbucks nearby and got some warm coffee while we did a quick wardrobe change to an outfit a little bit more casual.    I loved the fact that they really took to heart the ideas of wearing colors in the same color family! I always love couples that follow that advice, because it really does make the pictures look so much more put together when the clothes compliment and balance each other.  They changed to more of a blue and white color combination and I loved it!  Jenn’s sweater had a little bit of sparkle to it and was a great addition to the chilly weather!

We walked on several streets in German Village and they were more then happy to stand in front of several garages and fences.  That is another thing I love about German Village – hello cute garage doors! I have some serious garage envy going on when looking back through these images.  One of my favorite locations was close to the end in a little alley.  The light was perfect in the alley and it seemed to be a street that not a lot of traffic was on. It was perfect!
