I thought I would blog a nice, warm summer engagement session since we are about to get covered with snow! This is one of the engagement sessions that I have yet to blog yet from this past summer. We did their engagement session back in the summer and they were married in late July. We did their engagement session at Highbanks Metro Parks in Columbus, Ohio. Highbanks is located right by Powell and Lewis Center, Ohio right off of 23. I actually use to run on the dog trail there all the time so I am very familiar with the park. It is always so fun to go there and shoot engagement photos! Devin, Danika and I had a blast running around the park taking photos. They are huge nature fans so the park was a perfect pick. They flew in from Florida as well so we had some fun with their reading material that they brought with them during the long trip. Their wedding was actually up in Strongsville, Ohio near Cleveland, Ohio.
here are some photos from their engagement session – check back soon for their full wedding blog post!
Goofy shots are always great!
We had a little snake friend go across the trail
Their reading material for the long flight from Florida
Stopped for a quick smooch on one of the trails
This engagement session really makes me wish it was sunny and 75 degrees outside!
I am an Ohio based photographer who loves photographing weddings and engagements, traveling to beautiful sandy beaches, running after our adorable son Wyatt and border collie Bentley. A chips and salsa freak. Lover of coconut smelling lotions - candles - tea - desserts and... well anything that smells coconuty, and finally warm summer nights on our patio! What a lovely young couple!
I really liked the shot of them twirling in the grass.
Awesome!
The intimacy of the black and white with their eyes closed is great!
