I am so excited to start getting all these weddings and engagement sessions up on the blog from this year! I have been slacking on getting the full sessions up here on the blog besides the little teasers.  I couldn’t think of a better one to start with then Charlotte and John.

Charlotte and John  had their ceremony outside in front of the Bryn Du Mansion in Granville Ohio.  It was such a gorgeous day for their ceremony!  They had the ceremony overlooking the open grass field that is in front of the mansion.  There was a light breeze during the entire day that kept the heat manageable and even blew her dress a couple times during the ceremony for some elegant pictures.

We started off the day getting all of the finishing touches done inside the mansion.  She had an absolutely gorgeous dress that I just loved! Seriously – it was amazing.  It had these little cap sleeves on the dress that had pearls on them. It was the perfect touch of romantic and classic for her dress.  After everyone was dressed we headed outside for some separate formals of the girls and then the guys.  I always love it when my couples set the time aside before the ceremony to get some of the formals done.  Having the extra time before the ceremony lets us get gorgeous pictures of the girls and pictures of the guys without being super rushed.  We always finish with some extra time for everyone to touch up any makeup or get something to drink!

The ceremony was perfect.  They had a harp player for the ceremony that played gorgeous music for everyone to enter into.  Charlotte and John looked gorgeous up at the top of the hill overlooking the field.  The sun was hitting them just perfect and like I said before – there was a perfect amount of breeze that moved Charlotte’s dress towards the end of the ceremony.   When they finished up the ceremony we started doing formals with all of the bridal party and the family.

After all of that was done we got to party the night away at the outdoor reception under the tent.  They set up a huge tent behind the mansion to have their outdoor reception.  Charlotte and John had a very sweet first dance followed by Charlotte dancing with her father and John dancing with his mother.  They had a delicious dinner that was catered by A Catered Event. I highly recommend using them for all of your wedding needs. They were extremely helpful with planning the day with Charlotte and they were great to work with the day of the wedding.
