Catching up

Our Life

June 16, 2011

Hello!

It has been quiet on the blog for a week here, but it definitely has not been quiet at Pipers Photography!   Wedding season is in full swing and has taken off the past couple of weeks.   I am working on editing all the photos from all the gorgeous engagement sessions that have happened over the past few weeks and the lovely weddings that are happening as well.   I have been so lucky to have such great weather for all the sessions!  We had a couple of drops of rain on us last night at one of the engagement shoots and another one had to end just a hair early because of a rain storm – other then that – its been great!

I will be posting all these sessions soon.  I have just not had a chance to prepare all the images like how I would want to, to post of the blog.  The lack of engagement and weddings photos in not because of lack of sessions – its very much the opposite!  I have so many that need blogged that I don’t even know where to begin!

Also, I had some email problems earlier in the week – they are fixed now and hopefully I have gotten back to everyone that emailed and they didn’t get lost in email cyberspace.  If for some reason you never heard a reply back – it is most likely because it was sent when I was having issues.  Just give me a call or email me and it will go through!

On a funny note – this is what now happens in my house.  It occurred the other day when I had to take Charlie to the vet for his first round of shots. I couldn’t find him anywhere… so Bentley was in the kitchen with me and I asked him to go find Charlie.  The next thing I knew he bounded for the couch in the living room, jumped up, and hung his head over the back of the couch.  I followed behind him and sure enough, little charlie was sleeping in the corner of the room behind the couch.  It is one of the only places that Bentley can’t actually get to him.

Don’t mind the fact that this photo is obviously not straight because of the picture on the wall.

I figured I only had a second to catch it before Bentley started to look at me to say ” I found him! Where is my treat!”

The proud cat finder!

I honestly didn’t even know Bentley knew Charlie’s name. I didn’t know that I had said it even and enough times only to Charlie for Bentley to pick up on the fact that Charlie was in fact the new cat and not another toy. I don’t know if Charlie knows his name…I’m afraid he thinks his name is Bentley.

Thats all.  More – Real photo sessions are coming soon.
