Athens Ohio engagement session  | Athens Ohio wedding photographer

Sooo I totally thought I had blogged Kari and Dustin’s engagement session already and I didn’t! I don’t know what I was thinking. So here is the full blog post 🙂

We went around Ohio University in Athens to start out their session and we ended up in a gorgeous field and hill over looking Athens. They brought their two dogs to the session which was great! I am always excited when my couples bring their pets to the session. Kari’s parents were there to take the dogs after we were done with the pictures of the pets.  We snapped a couple at the very beginning and then went on to shoot at the playground, then head over to the university parts.  The field was such a gorgeous location to end their engagement session and I am so excited they shared it with me.  Kari and Dustin planned a picnic, on the hill, right at sunset, which was pretty awesome.  We had great lighting during the entire session, but the end was probably my favorite for the lighting.  The clouds broke apart just perfectly to a gorgeous sunset.  I am really excited to share this session with you as it is one of my favorites from the season.  You might notice some hints of Superheroes  throughout the session – it has a special meaning to them, but I will let you in on a little hint.  Dustin proposed to Kari while she was Superwoman and he was Captain America!
